Installer technical FAQ
Can headlight protection film cause glare for other drivers?
Installer support covering lens-film protection, limitations, preparation, maintenance and customer education.
Many car owners assume that a protective film applied to headlights could create additional glare, negatively impacting oncoming traffic. This assumption is false; MOD5 TopShield headlight protection film is specifically constructed to avoid creating scatter or unusual reflections that might cause glare. The film's surface is designed to maintain the original light beam pattern and focus, preventing light from being dispersed in unintended directions. This means your headlights behave as they were designed, directing light effectively onto the road without creating distracting or dangerous glare for other drivers.
