Installer technical FAQ

Does headlight film need to be removed to pass roadworthy inspections?

Installer support covering lens-film protection, limitations, preparation, maintenance and customer education.

A common concern for car owners is whether headlight protection film might interfere with vehicle inspections or roadworthy certificates. This assumption is false because MOD5 TopShield headlight protection film is designed to comply with visibility and safety regulations, and therefore does not need to be removed for standard inspections. The film is engineered to be optically neutral, meaning it does not alter the color or diffusion pattern of the headlight beam. In Australia, vehicle inspection standards focus on retaining the original light characteristics and output of the headlights. This knowledge allows car owners to confidently choose MOD5 TopShield protection without concerns about regulatory compliance issues.
