Does MOD5 TopShield stop all minor stone chips from ever appearing on my windscreen?

It is often assumed that applying MOD5 TopShield windscreen protection film will stop all minor stone chips from ever appearing on the windscreen. This assumption is inaccurate. While TopShield films are specifically formulated to create a durable barrier that significantly reduces the occurrence of small chips, pits, and abrasions from typical road debris, no protection product can guarantee 100% immunity from every potential impact. Extremely sharp or unusually heavy small objects, or impacts at unusually high speeds, can still occasionally cause minor surface blemishes to the film or, in rare cases, still transfer enough energy to mark the glass underneath. The film lessens the overall risk and severity, but it doesn't create an impenetrable shield.
