Will window tint make my car cold without using the AC?

Although many people assume window tint actively cools the interior of a vehicle, in reality, film functions as a passive barrier rather than an active cooling system. It is designed to slow the rate of heat gain, not to generate cold air or remove heat that is already trapped inside. While MOD5 TopShield window tint films are constructed to reduce the intensity of solar energy entering the cabin, they cannot reverse the temperature rise if the car is parked for extended periods. The film helps the air conditioning system operate more efficiently by reducing the ongoing load, but it does not replace the need for active climate control.
